Ripping Off the Band-Aid

Facing the painful things in our world

When I was a little girl, I fell a lot and skinned my knees.  As most kids do, I would put a band-aid on my scrapes and cuts.  The worst part of wearing a band-aid is pulling it off because the band-aid tends to stick to our skin.  But we all learn that it is better to quickly remove the band-aid, rather than slowly pulling it off.  The pain is less when we can just take a deep breath and face the pain head-on.

Right now, many things are being revealed about this world that we live in.  It is very hard to accept that the world we thought existed maybe never actually did.  It is very difficult to face the pain of what has been happening before our eyes.  But we must face this truth.  There are evil things that exist.  There are evil people that have great power.  And there are things that happen right in front of our eyes that are hard to process.

We are living in the year of 2020.  The year of perfect vision.  I believe that things are being revealed to make our world a better place in the future.  I believe that we must face these things, even if they make us feel uncomfortable or upset us greatly.   But to find the light, we must expose the darkness.  Now is the time for courage.  We must face the truth if we want change.  And we can no longer ignore the evil things that are happening around us.  It is time to rip the band-aid off.
