When we are children, we have huge goals and dreams. We aspire to be an astronaut, a movie star, or even the President of the United States. But as we go along through life, people tell us that those dreams are impossible. They remind us that those dreams aren’t practical, or even attainable. And as we grow up and acquire more responsibilities, those dreams get pushed to the side. We think that we aren’t worthy of those dreams coming true. Or we think that they are impossible. We feel burdened down by our life, and then we don’t do anything that we enjoy. We forget about those childhood aspirations and get stuck in the day to day living. We doubt ourselves, and we think we are too old, or not smart enough, or too ___________. We can have endless reasons why we think we can’t do something. But I am here to remind you that you can. At the very least, you can try. If nothing else, you will be making some effort towards doing something you enjoy. So today I encourage you to pick up that dusty guitar, or those unused paint brushes, or dig out that pen and paper. Because it is never too late for dreaming.
