Life is Precious. It is the most precious commodity that we have while on this Earth. We only receive one chance, and this one life. But we treat our life as if we have unlimited time and unlimited opportunities. We do this in the form of holding grudges, being bitter about the past, and holding onto unforgiveness. We treat our pride as if it is more important than human life. We don’t want to apologize when we have been wrong, and we refuse to accept apologies from others when our pride is bruised. We hurt people that we care about in our anger and resentment. And when they are gone, we live a life filled with regrets because we held on to our anger and pride while they were living.
While we are alive and present on this Earth, we should remember that today is all we have. Today may be the last chance that you have to tell someone that you love them. Today may be the last day that you have to forgive someone. Today may be the last time that you see someone that you care about. Your choices today are all that you have control of. So, today I encourage you to release those bad feelings that you are holding on to. Today I encourage you to let go of that grudge. Today I challenge you to love someone that maybe is a little hard to love. Because today is what matters.
